PIMP your Blog!!!

As you are a regular in blogger.com you could see that you have only limited template options and common features in those.

There is always a need to PIMP up your blog so that it looks good and has a wow effects to it.

I shall partake some of my Minuscule Knowledge I know about blogging and to PIMP it up. I shall add only few things in this writeup.

Templates:

There are only 16 templates plus different colours of each template available in blogger.com, at times you feel that the colour combination would be better or the top image could be changed. Don’t worry there are many websites which take care of the limited templates in blogger. com and have an exhaustive list of their own.

Few websites such as :

    • You would have to sign up into the website to download the templates. Has a good collection of wordpress and blogger templates. Also you get adsense and counter features in few of the templates. The blogs are submitted by users or from the creators of the websites. They also have a good collection of articles regarding blogs and other things on how to monetize your websites/blogs.

  • Then browse to your downloaded template and upload the same. You could get some errors like image 1 and html issue; no worries just select Save Template.

  • PLEASE DO NOT PREVIEW YOUR BLOG. Go to Layout > Page Element

  • Edit “Top Menu” widget. Add at least one link, for example you can make a link to your blog homepage with “Home” anchor text
