Scorpio Tattoo

Was contemplating on doing a tattoo for a year and kept on telling my mom that i will do it one day. She was not happy at first but after some time i think she got bored and joined me in the fun as in what tattoo you planning to do and where would you do.
Me: Chinese fonts with scorpion written on it on my forearms
Mom: Cool but please dont do it on your forearm. Arms would be better...
Me: Ok...on my arms..you happy!!
Mom: Yes

Then came 28th February...i had downloaded an addon for Firefox called piclens. And to check typed in scorpion tattoo. Found lots of them but only one caught my mind...it was known as Tribal Scorpio (which i got to know from the aunty sitting behind the Tattoo shop)

Send across mails to few of my friends and colleagues just to show that i would be doing this...they liked the sketch and told me to go with it.

2nd March, decided to meet up with friends...cancelled it and then rushed down to Al's Tattoo in Bandra. Luckily it was empty (considering it was Sunday) i showed the design on my mobile and my hands were shaking that time. He transferred the image on his PC took a print out. Told me to wait for a while......

Then came the time when Arun (Tattoo artist) sat down on his chair and me on mine...he put some gel on my arms and hit the paper on it. The scorpio image was inscribed on my arms. He set up the machine and there we go the first hit of the needle made my hair stand up. After some time i started to feel dizzy…Arun stopped for a while made me drink Tang (felt so good). During that time I called Alwyn..as he wanted to check out my tattoo.
Next round of needle pricking…again after a while started to feel dizzy….he made me sit again and have some more tang. Next sitting he just completed the whole outline.
Then it was lunchtime..got free lunch from Arun (thanks man needed that), waited to get my tattoo filled up. It took almost 2.5 hours to get it completed….and finally I wave bye to everyone and ride my way home. Mom liked it…I was so happy about it….

That was for the day….
